The site above is a small to medium manufacturer of plastic components with an annual electrical energy spend of around £36K per annum.
The project was carried out mainly to reduce energy costs and obtain greater utility from their existing supply.
The works comprised of the supply & installation of an automatic Power Factor Correction bank to improve the electrical efficiency of the supply from a poor 84% (0.84pf) to a corrected 99% (0.99pf), the works were completed within 4 weeks form receipt of order and returned a payback of less than 9 month.
Through our continued commitment to all our clients, via our service and maintenance department, the site continues to benefit from the improvements in electrical efficiency and greater utilisation of switchgear through our planned maintenance scheme.
